HTC's Likutei Peshatim Launches Centennial Edition

Updated: Sep 29, 2022

In honor of our centennial year, this summer, HTC launched a special weekly edition of Likutei Peshatim, featuring Torah submissions from HTC community and alumni worldwide.

Back in 1977, Rabbi Ben-Zion Rand, FYHS alumnus ('75) and current Rebbe, started Likutei Peshatim, which was initially a Torah publication for the students and families of the Yeshiva. In 1986, past president of HTC, Rabbi Don Well, formally launched Likutei Peshatim as a community Torah publication and welcomed Mrs. Naomi Samber as the Managing Editor to work closely with Rabbi Rand. For more than 40 years, Likutei Peshatim has been a staple in shuls and homes across the Chicagoland area and now worldwide via email through our Crain-Maling Foundation online edition.

Special thank you to HTC's Development Associate, Avery Amster who is assisting our editors to reach out to alumni to submit Divrei Torah each week. If you are interested in submitting Divrei Torah, please reach out to Avery at avery.amster@htc.edu.
